I applied for an internship here at Beaver Creek Lodge. I'll be staying for a year until December. It's been an incredible experience. I've had the chance to meet a lot of people, not just Americans. It's been fantastic for practicing my English skills. I arrived feeling a bit unsure about my language abilities, despite knowing the language. However, working at the front desk, you end up talking a lot, and I feel like I've improved a lot in just two months. I chose to do an internship at the front desk because I studied Hospitality, and I've always been interested in concierge and front desk operations. This internship provides me with the opportunity to gain management experience and also the possibility to travel and earn dollars.

"Everything is fantastic; it's an incredible experience. I am currently working in Park City. During work, we have something called "ski hour," where we can grab ski/snowboard equipment and explore the mountain. On my day off, we rented a car and went to the hot springs near Salt Lake City. The drive was beautiful, with trees covered in snow. Being in the water just 3cm away from the snow is an amazing experience. I also visited City Creek, the mall in Salt Lake City."

"It is a unique and incredible experience where you learn many new things, greatly improve your level of English, meet people from different parts of the world, exchange cultural customs with them, and so much more. If someone is hesitating about doing it, I would tell them not to think twice and just go for it because it's something incredible. I, too, had many doubts at the beginning because I tend to miss my family a lot, and I didn't want to miss out on the summer. However, without a doubt, I would do it again because, with so many things to do, the job, and being constantly surrounded by people, you hardly miss anything. Additionally, I had the chance to go to Aspen and learn how to snowboard, which I absolutely loved. If someone wants to do a work and travel program, I would recommend a ski resort like Aspen, or Vail, among others. It truly is a unique experience that changes your life."
